Our Story

Welcome to the heartwarming story of XOHalal, a culinary adventure that's as inviting as it is inspiring. Meet our founders, Wai Yan and Eaint, a dynamic married Muslim couple from Myanmar now sharing their journey with you in the United States.

Wai Yan, a relentless explorer and tech startup enthusiast, embarked on a remarkable journey across Asia, from the vibrant streets of Myanmar to the cosmopolitan landscapes of Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Turkey, and beyond. His travels were punctuated by entrepreneurial e, but amidst it all, one challenge stood out: finding Halal products no matter where he roamed. This challenge sparked a passion to bring solutions to a common problem.

Eaint, his equally passionate partner, adds a unique dimension to their shared vision. Her deep connection to the U.S., where she pursued her studies, gave her an intimate understanding of the American landscape. She recognised the daily struggles faced by Muslims in the U.S. when it came to sourcing diverse and Halal-certified snacks and beverages. It was this shared challenge, experienced together as a married Muslim couple, that ignited their shared commitment to make a difference.

Together, they embarked on a mission to create an inclusive space where flavours and values harmoniously converged. XOHalal was born from their shared dream – a dream to bridge cultures, celebrate diversity, and offer a delightful taste of the East to everyone, regardless of their cultural or religious backgrounds. Their mission is clear: to promote the idea that Halal products are not just for Muslims; they're for everyone.

Join us in celebrating the inspiring journey of Wai Yan and Eaint, a journey fuelled by love, shared dreams, and an unwavering commitment to providing solutions. Their vision, as a married Muslim couple, has brought XOHalal to life. It's more than just snacks – it's an invitation to explore the vibrant world of flavours and values that unites us all.
